Collaborative, Effective Leadership for Colorado's Hardworking Families
The Colorado Opportunity Caucus is a group of Democratic state legislators and other Democratic elected officials, leaders, and citizens from across the state. We are an ER nurse, a high school teacher, an EMT, a volunteer coordinator for a hospital, a rancher, a legal advocate for children, and multiple veterans of the US Armed Forces among many others. We are Colorado’s working families, fighting for Colorado’s working families. What ties us together is a shared belief that effective leadership means working collaboratively to find practical solutions and strengthen working families.

The mission of this caucus is simple yet profound: to focus on the issues that truly matter to Colorado families — the kitchen-table concerns that affect paychecks, livelihoods and futures. From housing affordability to high-quality jobs, better schools and infrastructure that strengthen our local economies, we are dedicated to pragmatic solutions that provide opportunity for all Coloradans. Together, we aim to foster a culture of leadership where problem-solving and consensus building create lasting progress in order to expand the middle class and strengthen democracy. The Opportunity Caucus is not focused on moving to the left or to the right. We're about moving forward.
